I wrote a really long piece about the nature of reality and its many layers and how to distinguish between reality and fantasy - inwardly and outwardly, physically and spiritually, objectively and subjectively, it but the computer decided to erase all my work which I was unable to recover.

That really (no pun intended) irritated me at first but I realised how erasure - whether accidental or deliberate - is an object lesson about reality itself. People mentally erase or run away from the realities they don't want to face. They cancel and block, attack and defend, because they prefer illusion. They won't commit to truth even when they claim to be truth-orientated. They believe in a wishy-washy sort of subjective 'love' that changes with the mood but not COVENANT LOVE - Elohim's/God's Love.

You see, the truth - like the Davar Elohim/Word of God - is "living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow" (Heb.4:12). It's the 'piercing' part that people hate. Why? Because they'd rather be massaged.

Living a life in physical (and sometimes emotional) constant pain has taught me some important object lessons. For one, truth matters, and when you're desperate enough, you'll give up everything you have - including your delusions - to have it. That's because deep down we only want reality. We want to see things as they really are, the more so as we come to realise that our eternal distiny hangs upon it.

Yesterday I watched a science fiction movie based on the modern secular idea of there being an infinite number of universes. That one thought has spawned a whole genre of movies about time travel. The movie, when it was over, made me angry intermingled with deep sadness. Why? Because it's core, the the reality the actors tried to create around it, was one mammoth lie, and people made futile sacrifices for it and patted themselves on the back for being so wonderful.

Once we become altruistic enough to want to be able to make sacrifices and so derive meaning from the same, we want to be sure we're sacrificing for something that's real and worthwhile. That's what makes me so angry about the current Ukrainian war. Over a million - maybe a million-and-a-half now - have died, and are still dying, and many more lie wounded and maimed, for a LIE they have been told. That lie makes apparent sense of their terrible situation and the sacrifices they have been prepared to make for home and homeland.

1990 – The U.S. promised Russia NATO wouldn’t expand “one inch eastward.” That was a lie;

2002 – The U.S. unilaterally withdrew from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty, destabilising nuclear deterrence;

2004 – NATO added seven more countries, pushing right up to Russia’s borders;

2008 – Bush Jr. pushed to bring Ukraine and Georgia into NATO, crossing another red line;

2014 (February) – The CIA backed a coup in Ukraine, overthrowing its neutral leader. War followed;

2014 (March) – Crimea voted 97% to rejoin Russia in a referendum. The West called it “illegitimate,” ignoring the region’s long history with Russia. Moscow took Crimea back without firing a shot;

2022 (February) – Kamala Harris publicly invited Ukraine to join NATO, daring Russia to respond;

2022 (April) – UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson sabotaged peace talks in Kyiv, telling Zelensky to tear up the deal and keep fighting for “Western hegemony”;

2022-2024 – EU leaders blindly followed Washington’s war agenda, pumping billions into Ukraine, cutting off Russian energy, and crippling their own economies — all while their defense industries raked in profits;

February 12, 2025 – Trump and Putin actually talked — for the first time in years. Days later, the U.S. finally admitted Ukraine will NEVER join NATO; and

2025 – Now that the U.S. is shifting under Trump, European leaders are in a panic. They backed a war they can’t win, and Washington is leaving them holding the bag.

Zelensky & His Backers

A comedian-turned-president, Zelensky was propped up by oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky — a corrupt Jewish banker so dirty even the U.S. sanctioned him.

Kolomoisky funded Zelensky’s rise from TV star to president and has deep ties to Western élites, bankers, and war profiteers who always cash in on conflict.

Meanwhile, Zelensky became America’s khaki-clad poster boy, begging for billions while:

• Dissidents were jailed.
• Men were dragged from their homes to fight.
• Ukraine’s élites got filthy rich off the war.

Now the Script is Falling Apart

So after three years of war, a million dead, and billions flushed down the drain… for what?

The Truth

This was never about “protecting Ukraine.” It was a reckless U.S. project to expand NATO, box in Russia, and funnel cash to defense contractors.

The Winners?

• U.S. war profiteers
• Corrupt oligarchs
• The élites who fund both sides of every war

The Losers?

• Ukrainians
• Russians
• Western taxpayers

They lied. People died. They milked the war dry and are trying to move on.

When the LIE is finally exposed - and the majority will probably refuse to believe it for at least a generation - rapid disillusionment will follow. Ukrainians will live through the same process they had to go through two times previously in two world wars, wars which the Enemy kindled with a view to undermining and destroying Christian civilisation in Europe in particular, but elsewhere too. The result for Russians and Ukrainians was the nightmare called communism. The only countries that have survived this secular destruction of faith in Christianity have been Ukraine and Russia. And by the time this is over, Russia alone of the two as a Christian land will likely survive...just. A huge revival has yet to occur in that land.

This war was never about Russia vs. Ukraine. It's a proxy war, not just for a certain military alliance that has outlived its usefulness, and not just for the warmongers who have made - and are still making - a fat profit out of human flesh and blood. The ultimate 'winners' are the dark, invisible realm - THAT is Ukraine's and Russia's real enemy. THAT is the reality of this dreadful war.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12).

In the meantime, this enemy - the REAL Enemy - will feed off the hate, mistrust and atheism that this evil conflict has produced and will further cultivate, for a very long time hereafter. Neither 'side' are the bad guys, - the real enemy is the demonic hosts and their human handlers. THAT'S reality but few will want to face it because fewer still want to ever admit they were duped.

The search for reality is necessary but will be futile until we are all willing to own up to our own gullibility and culpability in rejecting Yahweh's Truth over the world's delusions.
